Part Disney, part Cabelas, part Jacques Cousteau……just the perfect combination for a true destination dive center in the Northeast!  With a population of over 100 million located within an 8 hour drive, the Academy of Deeper Education is sure to become a mecca for scuba and watersports enthusiasts of all varieties.  The first center of its type in the world, the ADE combines a full service dive center, watersports training, programs for the handicapped, and an aquatics therapy center all centered around the largest saltwater aquarium in the northeast US.

Within the three story, 40,000 square foot facility, instructors of all levels will be able to teach student diver classes and conduct checkout dives in our three indoor pools, highlighted by America’s only 35 ft. deep saltwater lagoon, all located in a controlled indoor environment.  Free from weather concerns, this feature opens up training opportunities 365 days a year without the need to travel to warmer climates, or endure the dark and cold of local lakes & quarries.  Surrounded by tropical fish in a saltwater setting, divers will be trained in the same conditions and water as they will enjoy on vacation or trips to dive destinations worldwide.   In addition to the on-site pools, instructors and students from any agency will have access to multiple classrooms with state-of-the-art multi-media technology, designed to enhance the learning experience for all.

For certified divers, the lagoon will offer recreational divers the chance to fine tune their techniques, test equipment and refresh their diving skills before heading off to vacation destinations.  Independent instructors and associated dive centers will find the Academy to be a tremendous asset in the development of their diver training programs, and will open up new opportunities for training, equipment sales, rental gear, service and more.
