Save the date! On Saturday, October 17th, join the Academy of Deeper Education at our first annual “Dive In” Festival, an all day event designed to bring divers and non-divers in the community together to learn about the mission of the International Association for Handicapped Divers, and to support the IAHD-Americas programs.
The “Dive In” Festival, will be held at the Academy of Deeper Education’s site on Yoder Road in Harleysville, PA on Saturday, October 17th. The festivities are scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. and will be going on til late into the night! The list of program events, which is still growing, will include:
- Free Discover Scuba on-site
- Diver-to-diver swap meet
- Silent Auctions to benefit IAHD-Americas
- Equipment service training classes
- Underwater digital photography classes & camera

- Seminars and great speakers
- Manufacturer rep product seminars
- On-site demo pool to try new gear
- Travel & resort representatives will be on site with great offers
- Drawings for trips, gear & more all day long!
- Fantastic end-of-the-season savings on the latest gear
- Complete liquidation of new & demo drysuit inventory
- Great food by local caterers
- Live bands all day and evening
The festivities will start at 8:00 a.m. and run all day long, wrapping up with live music and a celebration party in the evening. A complete program listing with times and events will be posted on the Academy of Deeper Education website shortly. Register on-line for the event and be automatically entered in some fantastic drawings for trips and gear! All proceeds benefit the IAHD-Americas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to bringing the magic of the underwater world to divers with physical, mental & emotion challenges everywhere through adaptive scuba training and special needs programs.
